Photojournalism

a. Three firemen put up an american flag at the  wreckage of the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers. Shows the importance of the unity of our nation during hard times.
b. Taken by; Thomas E. Franklin, Centered the
three men instead of the wreckage to show them  with the American flag emphasisizing that they will  not give up in there search for survivors, becuase they know that they too would not want to be forgotten.

a. "Lunch atop a Skyscraper"-
Portrays 11 men constructing GE Building in Rockafeller Center in 1932. This picture is important because it desplays a time when technology was limited and men risked there lives on a daily basis to construct the things we have today.
b. Taken by Charles C Ebbet. It is shot in black and white putting an emphasis on the men and how far from the ground they are. The mood gives a nervous feel but when we see the men they are completely relaxed. This shows me how that going to this extreme hight is not as big of an isssue as it may appear
