Melissa Musgrove: Portrait Photographer
Portrait photography shows a story about the person you are taking it of. Useful for taking clean crisp photos is making sure that the lighting is controlled and maintained as well as being able to pose the people. To get the best results develop a comfortable atmosphere with your subject so that the images don't come out uncomfortable and awkard. Timing is important when shooting portrait photographer to achieve the amount of exposure to the photo that best sutes the image. In portrait photography there is nothing wrong with taking yourt time and also conversing with your subject can give you different emotions and expressions on their face.

Photojournalism
a. "Lunch atop a Skyscraper"-
Portrays 11 men constructing GE Building in Rockafeller Center in 1932. This picture is important because it desplays a time when technology was limited and men risked there lives on a daily basis to construct the things we have today.
b. Taken by Charles C Ebbet. It is shot in black and white putting an emphasis on the men and how far from the ground they are. The mood gives a nervous feel but when we see the men they are completely relaxed. This shows me how that going to this extreme hight is not as big of an isssue as it may appear

Principles and Elements
Using the black and white imaging i converted the whole image then focused spacifically on the stop sign to show emphasis on the word even though this object could have more red in it because of the fire truck.
Value- I took this picture for value and made the surrounding scenery darker to put an emphasis on the fire.

Rule of Thirds
Using the rule of thirds I angled this shot to the left side of the frame looking through a hole in a wooden fence to get a view of the pool.
Pattern
I took this picture at mercy of the flags overlooking the pool to show pattern and used the reflection of the light to put emphasis on the flags.
